Located just north of Bled, Vintgar Gorge is a 2 km long ravine carved by the rushing waters of the Radovna river. Wooden trail winds along sheer cliffs, passing gurgling rapids and whirlpools, crisscrossing the river on the bridges. The walkway culminates at the 16 m high Šum waterfall, which marks the northern end of the gorge.
